One mistake

In life we make one mistake and that will stay with you for a lifetime. Sadly we were too young at te time to recognise how big the mistake was. I know from my viewpoint I wish I had better guidance to help with the traumas of life as a teenager. But I didn’t and today as a 40 something woman I pay the heavy price for my mistakes last session later with my current counsellor. Next week I get re assessed as a private client and see what happens from there. Can’t help but think that all the counselling in the world will never heal the void in my heart. But maybe I will be kinder to myself
